Summit for age-related conditions.

If you suffer from age-related conditions such as arthritis or osteoporosis, Summit Physical Therapy can help ease or eliminate your pain. If you or someone you care about has suffered a stroke, we can help with that, too. We use personalized treatment programs that include aquatic, or pool, therapy.

Aquatic therapy is ideal for people with arthritis and osteoporosis or osteopenia because it reduces stress on your joints and bones. Water therapy is also soothing and relaxing. Our aquatic therapy program is designed to help patients limited by impaired joint motion, loss of strength or poor endurance. Aquatic therapy can decrease your pain and stiffness, increase your flexibility and strength and improve your balance, coordination, independence and self-esteem.

In addition to aquatic therapy, we use hands-on manual therapy techniques to ease your discomfort and help get you back to your favorite activities.

For more information or to set your preferred appointment, call the Summit Physical Therapy location nearest you today!
